For its Italian subsidiary ENcome is looking for a 

Technical & Operation Sr. Manager

^(m/f/n)

The TOM will lead the technical office being responsible for all the design activities, development and co-ordination of the internal/external technical

resources, implementation and development of all the operational and safety procedures. The role will report to the Managing Director Italy.

Locations:
Italy , Sesto San Giovanni (MI). 30% travel in Italy and abroad required. 

Main responsibilities:

• Field team Technical & Operation Management:
  • Coordination of the technical resources (>10FTE – direct report plus subcontractors)
  • Recruitment, Development and training of the internal resources
  • Continuous improvement of the technical department performance in line with corporate procedures (eg. planning, timetracking, activities completion, CMMS, etc.)
  • Planning of preventive/corrective/revamping technical activities in line with corporate priorities (PM & SALES)
• Plant Management team support and training
• O&M Activities: 
  • Contribution to preventive maintenance planning/prioritization and SOW definition with Plant Management department
  • Assessment of area of improvement and risks on the PV portfolio
  • Contributor in the optimization of the O&M activities budget
• Revamping Activities (Jointly with Sales and Technical & Project Manager):
  • Definition of the technical analysis / solution
  • Definition of the economic analysis: budget, payback and customer/company risk assessment )
  • Identification and qualification of selected suppliers
  • Make/Buy analysis
  • Preparation of the technical commercial offer
• Corporate Compliance & Support:
  • Optimize operational costs
  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Implementation of continuous improvement best practices in the utilization of the corporate management systems: “CMMS system (Microsoft Dynamics)” (eg. work orders, site access details, equipment details, contract cards, sites and projects time tracking etc.) 
  • Support to the Country Manager in the implementation, development and execution of the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) with regards to the area of responsibilities 
  • Formal responsibility as technical director (direttore/responsabile tecnico) according to the country norms
  • Formal responsibility as safety manager on safety matter according to the country norms (Dirigente per la sicurezza)

Skills requirements:

• Master Degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering from a leading university
• Consolidated experience and track record in the role, gained in international and complex business contexts (EPC and O&M companies with international exposure) 
• Concrete experience in technical design, plant commissioning and optimization
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office in particular: Excel, Word e Power Point
• Fluent in Italian and English is a must
• Fluent in Spanish and/or German is a plus
• Leadership, strategic vision skills, technological innovation skills
• Decision making ability
• Excellent team leader and team member
• Attention to details, entrepreneurship spirit willingness of continuous improvement and human resource management/development is a must
