ENcome strengthens Management

As of April 2022, Jörg Christiansen will join the management team of ENcome. In his previous positions he was in charge of the O&M businesses of Wircon Renewables Services and ENOVOS, both sizable and active market participants, for many years. Christiansen will become Chief Executive Officer of ENcome Group following Andreas Leimbach who retires from the position after some five years of service. Leimbach will continue to support the Group on an advisory basis.

Other management changes are: Richard Rath will become Managing Director of ENcome Germany and ENcome Engineering. He too has previously been in similar positions with Wircon and ENOVOS. Simon Russold, Head of Finance & Controlling, decided to move on for personal reasons. Sebastian Nieding, previously Head of Technical Operations, will become Chief Operations Officer of the Group.

Dr. Tobias Engelhardt, Head of the ENcome Advisory Board, comments: “We are glad to welcome Jörg Christiansen and Richard Rath to the ENcome team. There are not many individuals who know the pv o&m sector as well as they do. It has been the right time to strengthen the management team with outside resources. Together with Sebastian Nieding who has been with ENcome already many years, there will be a well-balanced team to continue the ENcome success story”. He continues: “Andreas Leimbach has done a remarkable job. His entrepreneurial spirit and his managerial ability to relate with clients and team members internationally have been the cornerstones of the growth, the competitiveness and the service quality of the ENcome Group. I also thank Simon Russold who, among other achievements, made ENcome 'IFRS-ready' and assured permanent financial soundness. All of us at ENcome wish him well in his future endeavors."

Jörg Christiansen says: “I am proud to join this powerful team. ENcome has become a market leader with its international reach, advanced processes and independent service levels. To bring ENcome into the next dimension will be my number one objective while relying on the unique ENcome team spirit.”

“It has been an honor to work in the ENcome team and to contribute to the transmission of ENcome into an internationally renowned service provider” says Andreas Leimbach and continues: “the diversity of the international team and the honest and pragmatic style of commitment within this team will continue to make the difference in the market. I wish Jörg Christiansen and the entire ENcome team much success in the future.”

Coinciding with the 10th anniversary of its existence, these changes mark the beginning of a new phase for the ENcome Group. While the company has originally been run by its founder Robin Hirschl, now CTO of Obton Group, who was then been succeeded by Andreas Leimbach, an owner manager, the new team for the first time and solely consists of independent industry experts who will continue the successful journey in this fast-growing sector.
