ENcome welcomes the upcoming consolidation on the O&M market

Klagenfurt am Wörthersee (09.12.2014): ENcome welcomes the upcoming consolidation on the European market for the technical O&M („Operations & Maintenance“) of PV installations. In the recent months a clear tendency is observable at many large PV power plants, to reduce the number of different O&M providers. Investors especially emphasise on the necessary critical size of the operator as well as its international setup. By using economies of scale and complexity reduction also operative costs (“OpEx”) throughout the plant operation can be optimized. Further challenges result from the integrity of interfaces, for example direct marketing.

„Many investors are consolidating their technical operators and emphasize on homogenous and standardized O&M solutions for the complete plant portfolio. Furthermore the current role of the plant operator is changing: in the future the typical O&M provider will become the forward-looking sparring partner, which identifies optimization potential and adaption needs for the maintained installations in time and subsequently validates them together with the Asset Manager on a technical and economical level. This applies in particular for direct marketing solutions of generated electricity”, explains Dr. Robin Hirschl, Chief Executive Officer of the ENcome group.

Beside the high service quality ENcome also convinces with its international setup, its high density of operated installations in the key European markets and the therefore resulting attractive price-performance-ratio for PV power plant operators. As one of the few constructor and manufacturer independent PV service providers ENcome additionally provides an ISO 9001:2008 certification. In the meantime ENcome operates more than 300 PV power plants with a capacity of over 200 MWp throughout Europe.

„We are well positioned for the upcoming consolidation of the O&M market and further striving for an organic and inorganic growth“, Hirschl further explains.
